Boxercise

Exercise class based on the training concepts boxers use to keep fit Through the boxing style moves, you will improve your hand-eye coordination through regular boxercise classes 

The class will help improve your motor skills, reaction times and agility, therefore, increasing your overall fitness and health

Athletic Step

Using short sharp bursts of energy, simple moves repeated to raise your heartrate to keep you fit and healthy. This includes warm up, two main blocks of work then a cool down.

Don’t worry you don’t need to be coordinated to do this class you can work at your own pace. Adaptations will be given. This is an intermediate to advanced class.

Step back to the 80’s with this class great fun retro style step aerobics. We will build a block of work up from simple moves creating a routine using great music. Fun fast and for those who like to dance on a step. We start with 15 minutes of aerobics, 15 minutes of step then 15 minutes of toning. This is a mixed ability class for all ranges.

Choreographed Step

This class is for those who truly love step with a routine. We build many basic blocks of work to make a whole routine. This takes co-ordination and is for regular confident steppers who are used to a mamba around the step as well as a rocking horse. This class will engage the brain and set you into a whirl leaving you on a natural high. Fast pace fun. This is intermediate to advanced class.

LBT

Good old fashion legs bums tums, a general work out for all levels of fitness.

It will involve lots of body weighted exercises as well as some weighted moves. This will help you to tone up areas around the legs bums as well as stomach, it will involve squats lunges crunches and a variety of moves from week to week.

My Kind of Yoga

This yoga class is about the feel being brave and respecting yourself. It is time for just you on the mat moving your body, being kind and mindful. It is a class where we have a set intention to follow every month through a variety of moves to help you through life using helpful breathing techniques and meditation. Using a gentle flow it’s not about being flexible its about getting to know your body learning how to breathe again and easing out the tension from your body. All levels welcome.

Modern Pilates

Modern Pilates is derived from the original work of Joseph Pilates and focuses on improving stability, postural alignment, flexibility and mobility. Classes are for all levels of Pilates experience, from absolute beginner level through to advanced; this is a modern approach to Pilates based exercise and focusses on a combination of stability techniques used in physiotherapy and traditional Pilates movements. It offers contemporary Pilates with a clinical approach as our exercises have been designed in conjunction with physiotherapists and recent research.

Barre Pilates

Barre Pilates classes, which combine simplified ballet techniques with Modern Pilates principles to offer a fun class format. Barre Pilates provides a variation from traditional Pilates classes, yet still maintaining the usual Pilates benefits. The Barre Pilates Method combines Ballet Barre exercises, Pilates, Body conditioning and Pilates stretches for a total body workout designed to lift, tighten and tone! Although this is a low impact class expect to sweat and feel the burn!

A Low impact, fat burning workout – using your own body weight and hand weights to increase metabolism, tone the body and burn fat.

Kettle Class

This class will introduce you to the kettlebells working at your own pace. We will go over a different range of functional moves for the whole body using the kettlebells. Using resistance training with a little cardio kick to get you moving
