Yoga has always been a part of my life. I took my mat and my practice with me to all the countries l traveled through or lived in. Be it Australia, Dubai, Turkey, Pakistan, Russia and many more. They all enriched my practice and without fail brought amazing people into my life.
Being a teacher comes from within. I felt I was ready to share my love, my passion for yoga and give others the same life changing experience I had.
In my classes I like a slow build up, warming up the joints and muscles, connecting to the breath, gradually developing into more dynamic sequences and finishing with deep relaxation. Throughout my class I cultivate awareness of the breath and alignment. I like using music in the class and have a bit of fun.
The word Yoga means unity. True to it’s meaning Yoga brings people of different ages, beliefs, nationalities and shapes together. So let’s laugh together, breath together, practice together.
Om Shanti Shanti Shanti.

I’ve been involved in the Health and Fitness industry for 35 years and have held many positions over that course of time. I am a fully qualified Personal Trainer, Clinical Pilates Practitioner, Group Exercise Instructor and CYQ Level 3 Assessor / IQA. I am enthusiastic and passionate about all aspects of health and fitness, including passing on my knowledge to others.
Initially trained as a dancer, I joined the fitness industry in the 80’s, gained a BSc in Health and Physical Recreation in 1997 and became a registered Fitness Assessor and IQA in the 1999. I became a Modern Pilates instructor in 2004. I was drawn to Modern Pilates because it brought traditional Pilates methods and modern research together into user friendly formats. As a PT I regularly incorporate Pilates techniques into my fitness formats because they are so safe and effective.
I’ve been teaching Fitsteps – Dance Fitness and Barre Pilates for the last 4 years. This has brought my love of dance and fitness together into two very popular class formats. You will feel amazing after these sessions!
Jenny Owen
I have been involved in fitness since leaving school I always loved partaking in classes which were more like fitness raves!!! This then evolved to me going onto teach fitness over 10 years ago, to give participants back some of the things I loved. Having taught lots of different classes from step to body pump I then decided to go into a more holistic route and trained in yoga after teaching body balance for six years. I enjoy watching people evolve from their own personal journey in fitness helping along the way. I love organising events for groups I’m involved in this has been from wellness days to pretty mudder. Fitness is my passion for all the things it brings to the people in my community. I just enjoy helping people to smile and look forward to something that gets them moving.

I gained my physiotherapy degree in 2004 and have worked in the NHS since then developing my specialism in Musculoskeletal practice. I am about to begin a Spinal Specialist role after working locally in Knutsford Hospital for several years. Alongside my physiotherapy career, I completed a 3 year BWY Yoga Teacher diploma in 2012 and became a certified APPI Modified Pilates Instructor in 2010. I continue to develop skills and knowledge in all three interests and I am in the process of working through a Barre certification with the APPI. I have taught private Pilates and Hatha Yoga classes in Mobberley for around 10 years.
Stephanie Conchie
Steph is a 200hr yoga alliance trained instructor, having completed her initial training in Goa, India, she utilises all the traditional methods learned with a fresh & modern twist. Initially she discovered yoga to help with her running, she was training for a half marathon and was finding her hips were taking a beating!! As the years passed the running fell to the wayside as her love of yoga grew and the pain she used to get stopped.
Steph teaches a fusion of hatha & vinyasa in her flow classes – benefiting both from the deep stretching & dynamic aspects respectively – she’s trained in aerial & yin yoga plus a mix of the two – which forms a truly magical experience using the hammock as support for your yin asanas.
She has a slight addiction to being upside down and loves learning new inversions & arm balances. Although her favourite pose has got to be lizard – you’ll probably never do a class with her without it!
Louise Seymour
My passion is fitness and helping people to feel healthier and happier through exercise. With a background in dance, I initially started my fitness career around 6 years ago, offering Dancefit and Zumba classes. I loved the energy this brought and very quickly became hooked on the feeling it gave me to see the change I was making to people lives. To see smiles on peoples faces, as they became fitter, more confident was something I wanted to pursue further. So I continued my studies and research and began to deliver weight based training classes as well as interval training. This very quickly became second nature to me and was so motivating to see people transforming their bodies and improving their lifestyle. Throughout lockdown, I also delivered a variety of online classes. It was so rewarding receiving such positive feedback and being able to help people keep healthy, both mentally & Physically through such an uncertain time. In all of my classes, I offer a very personable approach, and promote a fun and friendly atmosphere, making sure that everyone gets a great workout and leaves feeling motivated.
Alison Billany
I first began to enjoy fitness at the age of 18 when I joined a weight lifting gym. I entered a bodybuilding competition in my early twenties and have enjoyed weight training and a wide variety of fitness classes ever since.
I discovered Zumba around thirteen years ago and loved it so much that, in 2016, I trained to be an instructor and have been teaching classes ever since. I love to show people that you can still be fit, active and energetic despite being over a certain age! My favourite thing about Zumba is seeing clients leave with a big smile on their faces when they have danced away the stresses of the day!
In 2019, I also completed my Strong Nation Instructor training (previously known as Strong by Zumba), proving that we are never too old to learn new things!
Beverley Laird
I’ve worked in the fitness industry for 15 years as a Personal Trainer and the last 8 years as a fitness instructor. I love instructing in holistic exercise, such Les Mills Body Balance, Pilates and PureStretch. I would encourage anyone that does weights and cardio exercise to add one of the holistic classes to their weekly exercise regime, as it addresses the whole person, not just their physical fitness. The aim is working towards wellness, achieving physical fitness through a combination of mental and physical avenues.
